The InterContinental Regency Bahrain hosted about 30 heroic children from Smile Initiative, an initiative of Bahrain Future Society for Youth that offers psychosocial support to children with cancer and their parents in the kingdom.

The event featured a drawing workshop run by the artist Almosawi, who taught the kids a variety of fundamental skills and artistic techniques. There was also a magician show, entertainment competitions, and the distribution of gifts provided by the InterContinental Regency Hotel management, all of which took place in a fun-filled atmosphere.  

Mohamed Sanad, Hotel Manager of InterContinental Regency Bahrain, said: "We are overjoyed that we were able to lift the spirits of the brave, hopeful, and life-loving children who are battling this illness. They are an inspiration to all of us because of their courage and strength despite the challenges they face, and we are truly proud of their optimistic outlook on life and wish them a speedy recovery."

Sabah Abdul Rahman Al Zayani, Chairman of the Future Society for Youth, expressed the initiative's thanks to both the organizers of the InterContinental Regency Hotel for this hosting, and to the artist abbas Almosawi for his wonderful participation.

He said that this event comes within the framework of the campaign "Kids R Golden 9" launched by the Smile Initiative in early September and aims to spread awareness of childhood cancer among various segments of society. – TradeArabia News Service
