DUBAI, June 30, 2022

The newly rebranded voco Bonnington Dubai has appointed Bruno Guilloux as General Manager, bringing over thirty years of international experience in the hospitality industry.

Bruno graduated with a degree in Hotel Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Paris, France in the 80s. Following his graduation and military service, he worked with the Savoy Group at the luxurious hotel Le Lancaster, located off the Champs Elysées Avenue, in Paris, before starting his expatriation, first to Germany and then Thailand with the Kempinski group.

Bruno remained in Asia for over 15 years where he worked in various luxury properties within the Accor group in Thailand, Korea, and Indonesia before moving to Dubai.

Since arriving in the Middle East in 2005, Bruno has worked in various management roles including the Cluster General Manager of Dubai’s Novotel and Ibis World Trade Centre. After a brief tenure as General Manager for the luxury resort Sofitel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, Bruno returned to Dubai with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and in 2011 joined the Bonnington Hotel and Residence Jumeirah Lakes Towers, managing the property until 2015

Remaining in Dubai, Bruno went on to work with various international hotels, supporting their opening projects under Dusit Hotels and Resorts, and Barcelo Group before returning to lead voco Bonnington Dubai through a successful refurbishment, rebranding and inclusion into the new IHG brand, combining the reassurance of a global brand with the informality and charm of an independent hotel.

Bruno is a passionate hotelier with a wealth of international experience across all aspects of the hospitality industry. Delivering the highest quality, Bruno is recognised for his skills in assessing operational needs and developing smart solutions to improve revenue while driving customer satisfaction through outstanding service quality. He is a resourceful and well-organized manager with excellent leadership skills and an exceptional team building record.

The 208-room hotel embodies the characteristics of voco with exclusive features and distinctive hallmarks, setting it apart for a memorable stay.

As part of the transformational works carried out at the property, the refurbished guest rooms benefit from the voco design concept with thoughtful comforts like cosy bedding made from 100% recycled materials, Antipodes high quality organic amenities in larger dispenser bottles, and high-speed Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, executive desks, and in-room refreshments.

Located in the heart of bustling and cosmopolitan Jumeirah Lakes Towers, voco Bonnington Dubai is minutes away from Dubai Marina and its beaches, and a short ride from a host of luxury shopping facilities and malls, restaurants, bars, and some of the world’s top golf courses.
