Travel Counsellors UAE are celebrating after smashing the company’s sales records, ending their financial year (Nov '20-Oct '21) with sales of over AED55 million ($15 million), up 26 per cent on their previous highest sales year in 2019.

 

With March 2021 delivering the highest figure achieved in a month, with AED7.4 million of sales, the month also saw the first occasion where one of the company’s business owners achieved over AED1 million of individual sales in a single month, with Sarah Paterson achieving AED1.2 million in sales. 

 

The news comes as Paterson also achieved the company's Gold status for the first time, joining Adele Engelbrecht and Sarah Pickford, who also hold this accolade in the UAE.

 

The company, which now has over 65 independent franchisees running their own corporate and leisure travel businesses in the UAE, reported that record levels of bookings were sourced through the company’s in-house booking platform, Phenix, with over half of the company’s travel itineraries created in the platform over the last year.

She continued: “Over the past 12 months alone, our counsellors have attracted more than 2,000 new customers and I believe this shows not only the strong desire for customers to travel, but that trusted travel advice is now more important than ever.”
