RIYADH, November 25, 2021

Saudi Ministry of Interior has announced that starting from December 1, it will allow direct entry to nationals from India, Pakistan, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia and Vietnam into the kingdom without spending 14-day quarantine in a third country, reported state news agency SPA.

However all those who come from these countries will need to spend five days in institutional quarantine, regardless of their immunization status outside the kingdom, said the report citing a source.

The source stressed the importance of adhering to the application of all precautionary and preventive measures adopted.

He also said that all procedures and measures shall be subject to continuous evaluation by the Kingdom's competent health authorities, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation globally.

The announcement comes following a continuous follow-up of the epidemiological situation locally and globally and on the basis of the reports submitted by the Saudi health authorities about the developments of the coronavirus pandemic and the extent of the stability of the epidemiological situation in a number of countries.
