Israel pavilion at Expo2020 to celebrate Hanukkah

DUBAI, November 24, 2021

The Israel pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will be holding a traditional Hanukkah ceremony on November 28 and each night until December 5, where each night an additional candle will be lit to celebrate the festival.

The ceremony for lighting the first candle on the Hanukia will take place on November 28 at 18:45, Dubai time.

The ceremony will include speeches from Elazar Cohen, the Israeli pavilions Commissioner General, and Rabbi Levi Duchman who will perform the candle lighting ceremony. The event will also include performances from Anna RF, the Choir of the Jewish Community and distribution of traditional Sufganiyot (the holiday donuts) to the invitees and public attending the event.

The last candle will be lit on December 5 at 19:45, Dubai time. – TradeArabia News Service
