Burj Khalifa 'most desirable landmark to visit in the world'

The Burj Khalifa is officially the most desirable landmark to visit in the world, as new Google data has revealed 66 countries have the skyscraper at the top of their bucket list. 
 
With travel restrictions easing across the globe, luxury travel provider Kuoni has analysed Google data for over 230 landmarks to reveal the most searched for across the globe. 
 
Whilst the Burj Khalifa took the top spot overall, ranking top for India, Switzerland and most of Africa among others, the UAE was most keen to see India's Taj Mahal.  
 
Taking five years to build and named after the president of the UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Burj Khalifa was built to garner international recognition and increase tourism to Dubai.
