FTE global to have galaxy of speakers

LAS VEGAS, July 22, 2021

Senior figures from American Airlines, Reach Airports and JetBlue Technology Ventures will share future visions and insights at FTE Global, from December 7 to 9 at Las Vegas.

Speaker recruitment for FTE Global is well underway and the organisers are pulling together an incredible agenda in which everyone who takes to the stage will have something genuinely new and inspirational to share, with critical insights and learnings on future trends and successful transformation strategies to help one be ready for tomorrow's world.

In a session focusing on “How should future airports look and operate in the post-Covid-19 world in order to thrive?” organisers have already signed up Julie Rath, Vice President, Customer Experience & Reservations, American Airlines and Andrew O’Brian, Chair of ACI Latin America & Caribbean (ACI LAC) and the incoming CEO of Reach Airports, the US-based joint venture between Munich Airport International’s US holding and CAG Holdings.

Meanwhile, recently promoted JetBlue Technology Ventures President Amy Burr is the first confirmed speaker to join the inaugural FTE Air MobilityX Summit, which will help industry stakeholders adapt their strategies to take advantage of this major change in transportation, which is sure to have major repercussions for the end-to-end travel experience of the future.

Virgin Hyperloop will exhibit and run a workshop at FTE Global, plus host a visit to the Virgin Hyperloop Test and Development Site for FTE Innovation & Startup Hub members.

“How can aviation industry stakeholders establish hyperloop pilot projects?”. Oftentimes perceived as a competitor to aviation, hyperloop can actually integrate seamlessly with airports to facilitate the movement of passengers or cargo within or between airports, to cities, to distant warehouses, and more. Diana Zhou, Senior Director of Global Business Development at Virgin Hyperloop, will lead the workshop with key aviation stakeholders to discuss how the industry can leverage hyperloop to enhance sustainable mobility and improve economic competitiveness.

In addition, FTE Innovation & Startup Hub Corporate Partners will be invited to an exclusive tour of Virgin Hyperloop’s APEX test site, just 30 miles north of Las Vegas. This site has been home to numerous hyperloop firsts and over 500 tests, including the world’s first passenger run in 2020. On the tour, members will get a behind-the-scenes look at the components that bring hyperloop together, including the 500-metre tube and track, the vacuum pumps, the control room, and more. Virgin Hyperloop executives will be on-site to lead the tour and answer questions.

In the last week alone, organisers have secured the participation of three more exciting businesses whose capabilities will be showcased. These latest additions to the fast-growing exhibitor list will exhibit a range of hardware and software solutions particularly focused on supporting industry stakeholders with their automation efforts at the airport. -- TradeArabia News Service
