Ultima Collection partners with Preferred Hotels & Resorts

SWITZERLAND, May 5, 2021

Ultima Collection, a selection of ultra-luxury European properties including private residences, chalets, villas and a five-star superior hotel, has announced a new partnership with Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest independent hotel brand representing 700 distinctive hotels, resorts, residences, and unique hotel groups across 80 countries.

Following an initial partnership in 2019 with four of Ultima Collection's properties in Crans Montana, Megève, Courchevel Belvédère, and Genève, the new expanded partnership extends to Ultima Gstaad and Ultima Corfu, with five of the six properties now featured in Preferred's global portfolio as part of the Preferred Residences collection. As one of five global collections in the Preferred Hotels & Resorts portfolio, Preferred Residences offers the highest level of luxurious living through a curated collection of residential and long-stay accommodations that offer the comfort and security of home with luxury resort amenities in desirable destinations around the world. Ultima Gstaad stands as the sole property to join Preferred's L.V.X. Collection, which comprises renowned independent properties featuring the finest accommodations coupled with attentive, engaging, and exclusive personal service to provide guests with memorable experiences through exceptional dining, entertainment, and wellness.

Gilles Repond, Sales Director at Ultima Collection, said: “Partnering with Preferred Hotels & Resorts was a natural step in our goal to provide exceptional experiences in idyllic destinations across Europe. Preferred offers Ultima guests membership-free experiences that perfectly combine the privacy of luxury residences, bespoke amenities, and personalised services with the same quality of a world-class hotel stay. This partnership highlights the Ultima Collection portfolio as one of the world’s most illustrious residences and hotel.”

On the partnership, Regional Director for Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Priscilla Haryadi, commented: “As we prepare for a meaningful return to travel in the coming months, it is more important than ever to strengthen relationships with valued hotel partners and to align on strategy as we move forward, together. As such, this new, reinforced partnership with all six Ultima destinations across Switzerland, France, and Greece, provides our loyal guests with an exceptional selection of new independent travel experiences to suit families, groups of friends, and travel planners as they start to book international trips for the first time in over a year."

Guests at Ultima Collection are eligible to enrol in the I Prefer Hotel Rewards programme, which extends points redeemable for cash-value Reward Certificates, elite status, and special benefits. Points can be redeemed towards free nights and other on-property expenditures at more than 650 participating locations worldwide. The free-to-use I Prefer mobile app allows members to easily manage their account before, during, and after every stay. Members can search for and book hotel stays, redeem Reward Certificates, and connect with the property directly from the app. - TradeArabia News Service
