Legoland Water Park reopens

DUBAI, April 1, 2021

Legoland Water Park has announced the re-opening of its gates to the public from April 1 – welcoming families with children aged 2-12 to swim, play and build memories together.

Opening during the Spring break holidays, the water park will make for the perfect family day trip adventure Thursday to Saturdays, with a limited time bonus of free access to Legoland Dubai theme park after 5:00 pm for Water Park ticket holders.

Families can once again enjoy the water park’s key attractions including Build-A-Raft River, where families customise their own raft using Lego soft bricks, before floating down a lazy river. Exhilarating experiences await at Twin Chasers, where friends and family can race each other on double body slides that end in a shallow wading area.

There is plenty for the whole family to enjoy together, such as Red Rush where they can ride together in a family-sized raft down a 312-foot-long curving track on an 11-foot in diameter half pipe. Other highlights include the Wave Pools, Joker Soaker water playground and many more awesome family water slides.

Families looking to refuel can head over to Waves Bistro for a selection of delicious burgers, wraps, and salads and after 4pm kids eat free! If families wish to rent a cabana they are encouraged to pre-book cabanas online at an additional cost starting from AED99 ($26.9). Each booking includes a covered cabana area that accommodates up to six people, including two sofas, two luxury padded sun-loungers, and a locker.

With a variety of water slides and attractions, Legoland Water Park is the region’s only water park designed to provide a full day’s interactive experience for families with children between the ages of 2-12. Only a 20-minute drive from Dubai Marina, the water park features 20 water slides and attractions, each offering a unique fun-soaked experience as well as full range of amenities, including dining and retail outlets, changing rooms, guest services, first aid and prayer rooms.

Lrgoland Water Park will be open from 10am – 6pm Thursday to Saturday, with guests welcome to exit via Legoland  Dubai theme park from 5:00 pm and make use of its family friendly attractions at no extra charge.

Maintaining visitor health and safety as a top priority, the team at Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park have been working hard to ensure hygiene and safety measures are enhanced throughout the Park, including temperature checks on arrival, enhanced cleaning, one way systems, social distancing markers at ride queues, shops, restaurants and more. Capacity will be reduced in line with the government regulations and social distancing requirements to ensure a safe and fun experience for all. Due to these measures, water park tickets must be purchased in advance online by all park-goers. In addition, Annual Pass members should reserve their Water Park spot online in advance. Families can secure their place and save an additional 20 per cent by visiting www.legoland.ae. - TradeArabia News Service
