Euromonitor International joins WTM Global Hub

LONDON, August 11, 2020

The next event scheduled for WTM Portfolio’s new online portal, WTM Global Hub, will feature the very latest insight on global tourism demand and the ‘new normal’ from research giant Euromonitor International.

In the session, entitled Travel and Tourism: Embracing Transformation to Move Beyond Coronavirus, Caroline Bremner, Head of Travel Research at Euromonitor, will explain the latest trends and assess the impact on travel after the Coronavirus pandemic.

As with previous WTM Global Hub sessions, this event looks set to be packed full of the latest guidance and knowledge to help exhibitors, buyers and others navigate their way through the various challenges of the global coronavirus pandemic.

Bremner will discuss how consumer attitudes and behaviours have been changed and identify which trends are expected to be permanent.

She’ll also take a look at some of the new travel innovations that are being rolled out by travel brands and destinations, embracing digital and sustainable transformation to drive recovery and resilience.

WTM London Senior Director Simon Press said: “As the person who manages the entire global content strategy for travel and tourism at Euromonitor International, Caroline Bremner has her finger on the pulse of the industry."

“With a wealth of research, statistics and insight at hand, there is no-one better to share tourism intelligence to our WTM Global Hub audience."

“With a whole raft of protocols being implemented, she’ll paint a picture of the ‘new normal’ in the post Covid-19 world. The event is not-to-be-missed.”
