RIYADH, February 27, 2020

Saudi Arabia recorded a 13 per cent increase in the number of departing and arriving passengers between the kingdom and Kuwait during 2019, compared to 2018.

According to a statistical report released by the kingdom's General Authority of Civil Aviation (Gaca), the increase amounted to 1.48 million passengers transported through 11,753 flights.

This comes within GACA’s celebration with the State of Kuwait on the occasion of their 59th National Day, as an expression of the deep fraternal relationship between the two brotherly countries.

Moreover, the kingdom's airports continue to celebrate the 59th National Day of the sisterly country of Kuwait under the slogan "renewed accord", where at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh souvenirs were distributed today on the occasion, the Saudi and Kuwaiti national flags were handed out to Kuwaiti arriving passengers as well. The Kuwaiti’s national anthem was also played throughout terminals. - TradeArabia News Service
