Gulf Air temporarily suspends flights to Iraq, Lebanon and Dubai

MANAMA, February 27, 2020

Gulf Air has confirmed that it is complying with the order of the Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) in Bahrain to temporarily suspend flights to and from Iraq and Lebanon effective immediately and until further notice.

The carrier has also suspended flights to and from Dubai International Airport for an additional 48 hours and has temporarily reduced flight frequencies to and from several destinations.

The decision has been taken in order to safeguard the health and welfare of the kingdom’s citizens and residents from the current Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak.

The Gulf Air Contact Centre will be contacting affected passengers and assisting them accordingly. Passengers who have made their bookings through a travel agent are advised to get in touch with the agents directly regarding their rebooking and refund options.

Furthermore, passengers should check the airline's website before travelling or to call the Gulf Air Contact Centre for more information. For further assistance, passengers may contact the airline on Facebook Messenger or through direct messages on Twitter.
