New chef de cuisine at Lexington Grill

RAS AL KHAIMAH, December 12, 2019

Hilton Hotels has appointed Lendl Pereira as chef de cuisine at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah’s award-winning restaurant Lexington Grill.

Beginning his career with the world-renowned Taj Hotels group in Mumbai, Pereira worked with Marriott Hotels in Florida, before taking on a new challenge in the UAE. Since arriving in Dubai in 2010, Pereira has worked with a variety of celebrated Michelin Star chefs - Chris & Jeff Galvin, Tom Aikens and Celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver, gaining invaluable experience. Before joining Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, Pereira was a valued member of the pre-opening team of the Hilton Palm Jumeriah.

In his new role as chef de cuisine, Pereira will lead the team at the refined eatery which offers an unrivalled menu of the finest steaks and the freshest seafood from around the world. Lexington Grill boasts air-dried beef cuts which cannot be found elsewhere in the Middle East and houses over 350 labels of wine in its temperature-controlled cellar.

On his new appointment, Pereira said: “I am delighted to be joining the talented culinary team at Lexington Grill, Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah. Lexington Grill is an award-winning steakhouse and I look forward to furthering the legacy by continuing to deliver high quality and amazing food to our guests while also bringing my personality as a chef to the brand.” - TradeArabia News Service
