New Marvel experiences coming soon to Disneyland Paris

PARIS, September 12, 2019

Disney’s Hotel New York, one of the premium accommodation options at Disneyland Paris, is in the midst of an ambitious re-imagining, to become Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, all in the style of a New York art gallery.

This weekend, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek gave fans at D23 Expo 2019 an inside look at what’s coming next summer.

When it opens, the hotel will feature more than 300 curated works of art throughout the hotel, including some never-before-seen pieces. Disneyland Paris is collaborating with artists from both Marvel Comics and Marvel Studios for the epic transformation.

Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will showcase the dynamic, inspiring world of Super Heroes with stunning pieces on display celebrating 80 years of Marvel storytelling. Some themed suites will be dedicated to characters like Spider-Man and will celebrate these iconic heroes throughout the entire room. And of course, guests will have the unique opportunity to meet legendary Marvel Super Heroes in a dedicated space.

The contemporary New York City experience, which made the hotel so popular with guests, will be enhanced when it opens, with its typical Art Deco style and even cosmopolitan food that evokes the legendary city.

The new Marvel-themed area coming to Walt Disney Studios Park has a name
The highly-anticipated grand opening of Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will take place next summer. And that’s just the beginning, as Marvel Season of Super Heroes returns next spring and Walt Disney Studios Park prepares to expand with a fully immersive Marvel-themed area, Avengers Campus.

The Avengers Campus will feature the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – also known as “WEB” – which will house the new Spider-Man experience, the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature this iconic Super Hero.

During an open house at WEB, the aspiring inventors are excited to invite guests for a test drive of their latest invention: the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which allows them to sling webs just like Spider-Man. The attraction gives a taste of what it’s like to have actual superpowers whilst helping Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.

Disneyland Paris continues to invest in every aspect of the guest experience, preparing for the future of the resort and setting the standard for immersive and innovative offerings. From different seasonal experiences year-round and new opportunities to encounter fan-favourite stories and characters, to entire new themed areas, there are so many ways for fans to experience the franchises they love, with more for guests to enjoy at the resort than ever before. - TradeArabia News Service
