Madrid's rainforest-inspired restaurant to open in Dubai

DUBAI, September 5, 2019

Originating from Madrid and inspired by Latin American cultural diversity, rainforest inspired restaurant Amazonico will open its doors in Dubai later this year.

Located in DIFC, Amazonico provides the perfect juxtaposition of Latin American warmth in Dubai’s contemporary and evolving landscape.

With its three-storey venue led by Chef Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, Amazonico promises to create a gastronomical storm, welcoming guests with its notable inviting hospitality.

The only restaurant in DIFC boasting a Bar & Lounge, a beautiful Restaurant, a Sushi counter and a Rooftop terrace, Amazonico’s menu is an eclectic mix of mouthwatering dishes giving you the taste of a gastronomic paradise, with references to Brazilian gastronomy; Chef Silva’s home country.

“To create Amazonico, we truly delved into the foundations of South American culture and explored the elements of their cuisine, their eating rituals and how they enjoy meals. The most important parts are often the ones that you can’t see, like the roots of a tree or the submerged part of the iceberg. Amazonico stemmed from this philosophy, a venture born of depth, history, and expertise.” said Silva, concept creator of Amazonico.

With a rich culinary experience into Latin American heritage comes an admirable interior created by Spanish designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Trained as a painter, traveller by conviction and interior designer by instinct, Rosa finds inspiration everywhere; his cultural background allows him to mix, modify and reinterpret past and present trends for each new project.

Starting with a Bar & Lounge, moving up to the restaurant and ending with a rooftop terrace, Amazonico creates an incredible experience taking each and every guest on a journey along the Amazon river. An immersion in the sprawling rainforest and Andean peaks, to the golden shores of the northern coast; Amazonico is a space filled with details and charm.

Amazonico will be located in Gate Village, Pavillon DIFC. - TradeArabia News Service
