Flyadeal launches new routes from Dammam

DAMMAM, January 6, 2019

Flyadeal, Saudi Arabia's low-cost carrier, has launched flights to four new destinations from Dammam - Riyadh, Medinah, Jazan and Abha.

These flights are in addition to the current three daily flights from Dammam to Jeddah and the three daily flights from Jeddah to Dammam.

The new routes will serve the residents of the Eastern Province by offering more options for affordable flights in and out of the province’s capital, Dammam, connecting it to the various regions of the Kingdom with daily flights at Everyday Low Fares.

To commemorate the launch, a ceremony was held at the departure lounge of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal; airport officials and employees; and representatives from the media were present for the first of the new flights - F3 1175 from Dammam to Riyadh.

“Since our inception, we have worked to deliver on our promise of everyday low fares coupled with a great onboard experience delivered with smiles. As we enter 2019, we celebrate new flights from our virtual base in Dammam to four major destinations in the kingdom: Riyadh, Madinah, Abha and Gizan. We will also start operating a second daily flight from Jeddah to Tabuk from January 7,” Korfiatis said.

“We are also pleased to announce the opening of our Riyadh base. As Saudi Arabia’s capital, we are committed to strengthening our presence and grow our flying here over the course of 2019,” added Korfiatis

“We also expect to receive our 11th new Airbus A320 (CEO) aircraft this month and this will enable us to expand our network even further,” he said.

Flyadeal's network now comprises 70 daily flights that link all four corners of the kingdom. - TradeArabia News Service
