Culinaire & Beyond to host charity dinner at Capital Club

MANAMA, October 9, 2018

Culinaire & Beyond, a leading food and beverage (F&B) consultant, is set to organise a charity dinner at the Capital Club on October 16.

The charity dinner is part of the Bahrain Hospitality & Restaurant Expo 2018 (BHRExpo) which is taking place from October 14 to 17 under the patronage of Shaikh Isa Bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

BHRExpo 2018 will include a Culinary Tour, Forum and Exhibition. It will provide participants and exhibitors an opportunity to network and showcase their products and services to key decision makers in the hospitality sector at one of the largest F&B gathering in the Kingdom.

This dinner will be a star-studded event with three-Michelin-star chef Heinz Beck coming specially from Italy to recreate his signature Culinary Magic for the Bahraini Audience. This will be Beck's maiden visit to Bahrain and as part of this unique feature of BHRExpo 2018, said a statement from Culinaire & Beyond.

Proceeds from this event will be shared with two nominated charities in the kingdom - Breast Cancer Society and Bahrain Cancer Society.

Additionally, the expo is hosting the most anticipated, first regional Culinary Competition with the jury consisting of world renowned star chefs, it stated.

According to the organisers, the upcoming charity dinner will be a great opportunity for Bahrainis to experience the culinary culture of the Italian people.

One of Europe’s most respected and renowned chef, Beck will be preparing a special menu for the guests with the help of Capital Club’s executive chef and team for what seems to be the most talked about dinner of the month, they added.

The German-born chef is also a culinary pioneer who runs La Pergola, Rome’s only three-Michelin-starred restaurant, along with ten other restaurants around the world.

A first-of-its-kind the charity dinner will feature an exclusive, entirely customized menu by the Capital Club team alongside the talented Chef Beck. The guests will be privy to the culinary master’s true magic combined with a unique dining experience in the most magnificent setting, the organisers added.

In addition to Chef Heinz's customized menu, a surprise menu will be presented to the attendees, demonstrating an innovative approach towards various cuisines that will maintain the respect of culinary traditions.

Sumeet Jhingan, the general manager of Capital Club, said: "We are very excited to host the three-Michelin-star chef Beck and the culinary team of Capital Club is enthusiastic to work with world renowned chef for a charity dinner that will feature an exclusive customized menu."

The tickets for the exclusive charity dinner event can be purchased at the Capital Club, he stated.

"Furthermore, the evening will be open to all our esteemed guests, with key focus on giving 25 per cent of the proceeds to Breast Cancer Society and 25 per cent to Bahrain Cancer Society," said Jhingan.

"Those who are interested to become part of this memorable night can get in touch with the Capital Club directly to reserve their seats," he added.

"Culinaire and Beyond is ecstatic to work along-side The Capital Club to make this incredible event successful," remarked CEO Leena Ahmed Al Mannai after signing the deal with Jhingan.
