Campbell Gray Hotels, the hotel group behind the iconic Le Gray, Beirut, has announced a property in Amman, Jordan.

Campbell Gray Amman, located in Amman’s new downtown, Abdali is set to open its doors in 2020 and promises to be a breath of fresh air for the modern traveller.

A development by Al Seraje Real Estate, a subsidiary of the Audeh Group, Campbell Gray Living Amman is leading the way in luxury mixed-use developments.

Billed as a boutique hotel, Campbell Gray Amman will feature 192 guestrooms and suites, a ground floor café, rooftop restaurant, cigar lounge, rooftop pool terrace – with a distinct private retreat vibe – PureGray Health Club & Spa, along with meeting facilities including a screening room and ballroom.

The hotel, which will be accessed via a private underground tunnel upon completion, forms part of the Campbell Gray Living Amman development, a recently completed mixed-use project which also offers exquisite private residences, serviced apartments, office space and retail units. Located in the heart of the city’s new downtown area, Abdali, the hotel is in an unbeatable location, perfectly suited to a modern, pedestrian lifestyle. Offering everything from restaurants to cinemas, malls and majors banks, Abdali is also fast becoming a high-powered business district with major companies moving in. Shmeisani and the historic city centre are just 10 minutes away, while Queen Alia International Airport is a 30-minute drive.
The design of the cutting-edge project is being overlooked by acclaimed hotelier Gordon Campbell Gray in consultation with a team of designers and architects including Martin Brundnizki Design Studio London.

Catapulting Jordan’s capital Amman into the 21st century and placing it on par with most of the world’s renowned city centres, Campbell Gray Amman, Al Seraje introduces a new world of indulgence and absolute luxury to Amman.
"We are confident that Campbell Gray Amman is set to become the most exciting focal point for both business and social life in the new downtown of Amman," said Saad Audeh, founding member and managing director of Audeh Group and chairman of Campbell Gray Hotels.

Flawless execution and attention to minute details have Al Seraje partnering with the most sought-after names, becoming one of the most well-renowned luxury developers in the region. At Campbell Gray Amman guest can expect beautiful rich hardwood oak throughout, bespoke furniture – including the hammered-metal lampshades and mid-century chairs – wallpapers by Hermès and silk curtains by Jim Thomson. In the bathrooms, guests will encounter a soothing sanctuary comprised of cast-stone flooring, bespoke ceramic tiles, Dornbracht taps and Duravit washbasins.

For the artworks, local artists are being utilised as much as possible in order to root the interiors within a Jordanian framework. These will run shoulders with renowned international artists such as Huw Williams. The end result will be a sumptuous, polished look rarely seen anywhere else in the region. - TradeArabia News Service
