City Centre Rotana Doha cheer up kids with kidney disease

City Centre Rotana Doha’s staff, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), organized a visit for kids with kidney diseases on the sidelines of the World Kidney Day, which is observed in the second week of March every year.

The hotel’s team joined hands with Qatar Charity and a group of partners to bring joy to the hearts of children by spending enjoyable time, which included a variety of games, activities and entertainment that attracted their admiration and drew joy and smiles on their faces.

During the visit, the task force comprising of City Centre Rotana staff, Universal Foods, Finest Events and Adnasa worked together to create a joy and fun atmosphere for the kids with clowns, characters, face painting, balloons and many other activities including gifts which was distributed to all the kids.

On this occasion, Sena Catak, director of marketing and communications at City Centre Rotana Doha, said: "Through this initiative, we seek to reiterate our commitment to all social corporate responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and to collaborate with all local institutions to better serve this country on different levels. With our humble efforts, we have tried to leave a beautiful and distinctive imprint in the hearts of children with our partners."

World Kidney Day (WKD) is a global health awareness campaign focusing on the importance of the kidneys and reducing the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
