New F&B director at Six Senses Zighy Bay

Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman has appointed Andre Miethig as executive assistant manager for food and beverage (F&B) operations.

With more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality catering sector, Miethig brings a fresh perspective to this important position.

“We are very pleased to have Andre on board to further strengthen Six Senses Zighy Bay’s food and beverage scene, while fostering ‘out of the ordinary’ dining experiences for our guests,” said Aaron McGrath, general manager of Six Senses Zighy Bay. In his new role, Miethig will manage the day-to-day operations of the resort’s food and beverage department, execute strategies to drive revenue and deliver the highest level of guest experiences.

In 2005, Miethig started his career with Steigenberger Hotel Deidesheim in Germany. This was followed by several positions in Vienna at the Grand Hotel, Palais Coburg, The Ring and The Intercontinental Vienna. He joined Kempinski Hotels in 2011 and held key leadership positions for the group in China, Seychelles and Germany. Prior to joining Six Senses Zighy Bay, Miethig was the F&B director at Gili Lankanfushi in the Republic of Maldives. - TradeArabia News Service
