ME Dubai appoints new sales head

DUBAI, January 29, 2018

ME Dubai, located in the prestigious Opus by Zaha Hadid, has appointed Haytham El-Sherbini, a results-oriented professional with over 11 years of experience in the hotel industry, as its new director of sales and marketing.
 
After graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick – Canada in Cairo, Egypt, El-Sherbini started his successful sales career by joining several multinational and luxury hotel chains, such as Dusit International, Intercontinental Hotel Group, and most recently, Emaar Hospitality Group for eight years as director of sales protocol for The Address Hotels + Resorts and at last, director of sales for Armani Hotel Dubai.
 
“I am honoured to be working with the long-awaited ME Dubai, which is sure to make a big splash in the UAE. I look forward to witnessing the success of ME by Meliá’s first property in the Middle East,” said El-Sherbini.
 
ME Dubai will take residence in the breath-taking, 95-metre high Omniyat-developed Opus building, which is the newest architectural icon in the Dubai skyline and situated in the heart of the upcoming Burj Khalifa district in Downtown Dubai. The ultra-luxury hotel will consist of 93 rooms and suites, 96 residential apartments and 15 food and beverage outlets, including contemporary Japanese restaurant, Roka.
