Dubai International Hotel scores hat trick

DUBAI, December 4, 2017

Dubai International Hotel, a luxury airport accomodation, has announced a triple victory at the recently held Middle East Hospitality Excellence Awards 2017.

The awards are presented to recognise top industry organisations, which have shown skill, creativity, ingenuity and success in the Middle East and North Africa’s growing hospitality industry. After the hotels have nominated their candidates, the Hozpitality Group invites more than 800,000 industry professionals to vote online for the award nominations. The committee receives over 400 candidates to be nominated as one of the best in their category.

Dubai International Hotel’s front office manager Chanaka Ranasinghe walked away with Gold in the 'Front Office' category. Ranasinghe has been with the hotel for four years and has been instrumental in ensuring that the hotel maintains its current ranking of 2 on Trip Advisor in the Specialty Lodging properties in Dubai category. Cho Gao Restaurant and Lounge won Silver in the 'Restaurant of the year (Others)' category. Cho Gao is located at Concourse A (Terminal 3) and boasts in serving the freshest and most delectable Asian food, prepared live by their highly skilled team of chefs. Another Silver goes to Ahlan First and Business Class Lounges in the 'Restaurant of the year (Lounge/Night Club)’ category. Ahlan offers highly luxurious and personalised First Class and Business Class lounges for arrival, departure and transit, within one of the world’s busiest airports.

Dubai International Hotel is located within Dubai Airports, Terminal 3 and 1. This 530-room luxury hotel is spread across concourse A, B and C, while concourse D houses the award winning Ahlan Business Class and First Class Lounges. The hotel offers various facilities to ensure the most luxurious and comfortable experience, including the Timeless Spa, 13 restaurants and bars, and also Ahlan Meet & Greet Services.
