Ramada Abu Dhabi Downtown appoints new GM

Ramada Abu Dhabi Downtown has appointed Ismail Ibrahim as the new general manager of the hotel.

Ibrahim – who brings more than 15 years of experience to his new role – will be responsible for the development and execution of the hotel’s commercial and operational long-term strategies.

With an extensive background in the hospitality industry of the UAE and Egypt, Ibrahim has demonstrated a deep commitment to the strategic work of hotels, with an emphasis on operational planning and business development. He has garnered several accomplishments in his career, beginning from his work in the front office department to eventually gaining his position in sales and marketing department.

Ibrahim has previously played an integral role as the cluster director of sales and marketing for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts managed by ‘Gromaxx’ Hotels Management, focusing on Ramada Hotel Abu Dhabi Corniche and TRYP by Wyndham Abu Dhabi properties respectively. His achievements during his tenure include successfully launching and marketing food and beverage outlets, achieving an average of 86 per cent occupancy in 2015, and reaching a 5 per cent increase in room revenue.

As the new general manager, Ibrahim will oversee all hotel departments’ daily operations, establish the annual business plan, implement relevant marketing strategies, increase guest satisfaction and exceed management goals. - TradeArabia News Service
