JW Marriott Marquis Dubai scoops seven more awards

DUBAI, July 4, 2017

The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is the proud recipient of another seven international industry and media accolades, received in the first half of 2017.

Exceeding its 60 strong record garnered since opening in 2013, the Emirates-owned World’s Tallest Hotel continues to uphold its reputation as a multi award-winning ‘Destination of Exceptional Taste’.

Restaurants and bars at the JW Marriott Marquis continue to be the most highly awarded segment; with six accolades received from renowned publications such as Food & Travel Arabia, Time Out Dubai and Shortlist. The most awarded restaurants include Rang Mahal by Atul Kochhar; the hotel’s resident Indian restaurant operated by Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar, followed by Prime68, an American steakhouse with panoramic views of the city. The 17 room Saray Spa also garnered a World Luxury Spa Award, to be announced in late July.

As the only hotel in the UAE capable of hosting groups of 1,000 delegates or more to meet, eat and sleep; the JW Marriott Marquis is also gaining a lot of recognition globally for its outstanding meetings, incentive, conference and events offering. Throughout 2016, the hotel claimed such titles as Best City Hotel 2016 from Food & Travel Awards Arabia, Middle East's Leading Conference Hotel 2016 and Dubai's Leading Conference Hotel 2016 from the World Travel Awards, Best Function Venue 2016 from the Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards, Best Business Hotel in the World 2016 by Travel + Leisure India, Favourite Overseas Business Hotel 2016 by the Conde Nast Reader’s Travel Awards.

"It’s a very gratifying to be at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai," said Bill Keffer, ‎general manager “We are just five months away from our fifth birthday and in those five years, we’ve enjoyed remarkable success. Operating the largest hotel in the UAE in terms of rooms and maintaining impressive occupancies is a testament to our team and these awards are icing on the cake. Even as times get more challenging, we retain a unique proposition in an ever-changing market. The new Dubai Water Canal has made our location even more attractive and Dubai continues to be a must-visit destination for travellers. With the support of DTCM and our owners Emirates, we will continue to succeed and will always strive to exceed expectations." - TradeArabia News Service
