Eagle Hills plans second hotel in UAE

FUJAIRAH, June 11, 2017

Eagle Hills has announced plans to build its second five-star hotel in Fujairah, UAE, in a bid to attract tourists and investment into the Northern Emirates.

Located centrally in Eagle Hills Fujairah Beach, a master-planned development by Eagle Hills in the city, the new Palace Fujairah Beach is a premium luxury hotel to be managed by Address Hotels + Resorts.

This follows Eagle Hills unveiling the Address Fujairah Resort + Spa last year, the first development of its kind in the emirate, located in Sharm. Palace Fujairah Beach is the second project to be managed by Address Hotels + Resorts, the flagship hotel brand of Emaar Hospitality Group, in the emirate.

It will feature 162 rooms and suites set by the beachfront featuring contemporary architecture and Arabesque patterns, a testament to a city embracing the future while staying true to its heritage. The hotel will be set on a prime coastal site on the Gulf of Oman, known for its beautiful sands, vibrant sea-life and the serene mountainous environment.

A focal point of the Eagle Hills development, Palace Fujairah Beach will offer a health club, select cafes, high-quality dining outlets, separate pool for adults and children and world-class meeting venues - attracting families and business guests.

Low Ping, chief executive officer of Eagle Hills, said: “Fujairah is a unique location in the UAE defined by its mountain landscape, rich culture, range of extreme sports activities and its direct access to the Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean. The city and the wider emirate is very popular among international tourists and UAE residents looking to get away from it all and enjoy a range of activities not available anywhere else in the country.

“We believe there is fantastic potential in Fujairah, which can be unlocked by offering the high-end facilities of Palace Fujairah Beach, and we’re delighted to be partnering with Address Hotels + Resorts on this incredible development. It is fantastic to be playing our part in shaping a bright future for Fujairah, while aligning with the federal government’s vision of achieving economic diversity through honing non-oil sectors.”

Olivier Harnisch, chief executive officer of Emaar Hospitality Group, said: “Palace Fujairah Beach, our second project in the emirate, underlines our focus on expanding the footprint of our premium luxury brand in the UAE and other high-growth markets. The management contract from Eagle Hills further highlights our competency in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

“As a home-grown brand, we have demonstrated our success in Dubai and we will bring the same world-class standards in quality and service to the new project. Fujairah is an exceptional location for a beachfront resort and we are confident that Palace Fujairah Beach will contribute to energising the economy by boosting the hospitality and tourism sectors.”

Like all hotels in the portfolio of Address Hotels + Resorts, Palace Fujairah Beach also celebrates its key messaging, ‘where life happens’. The award-winning brand offers a more personal and engaging experience to guests in a premium lifestyle environment, enriching the lives of its guests with luxury, style and elegance.

Fujairah Beach is centrally located, within an eight-minute drive from the local airport, and 25 minutes away from the border of Oman. It is expected to be complete by 2019.

Eagle Hills Fujairah Beach is a mixed-use development that will also feature a gated residential community, comprising 84 villas and townhouses available in two to four-bedroom configurations with stunning beach, garden, and city views. It will be the first residential development in Fujairah city with direct access to the beach.

With 10 operational hotels and three serviced residences already, Emaar Hospitality Group now has a pipeline of 26 upcoming projects including Address Hotels + Resorts projects in the UAE, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. - TradeArabia News Service
