Turkish Airlines offers laptops on US-bound flights

ISTANBUL, May 7, 2017

Turkish Airlines is now offering laptops to its business class passengers on US-bound flights, following the recent electronics ban enforced on flights originating from the Middle East.

It will launch the same practice for its UK-bound business class passengers on May 12.

Busy passengers can transfer a copy of their personal work to a USB memory stick and continue onboard uninterrupted using the new laptoan loan service.

The laptops offered on board will feature a high security system to protect personal information/work of the passengers by automatically and permanently deleting all previous data from the system when the device is shut down. - TradeArabia News Service
