Etihad Airways, UAE's national airline, has announced a “First Class” agreement with Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi to become one of the key partners of the mall’s Fashion Week YMFW16 this October.
 
Etihad Airways will offer the winner of the ‘Design your way to the Runway” competition a trip to a leading fashion destination which will be revealed closer to the time.
 
Saoud Khoory, general manager of Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi, said: “At Yas Mall Abu Dhabi, we are always looking to offer our visitors a first class experience like no other, and our partnership with Etihad Airways is a key testament to this ambition. We are very excited that Etihad will be taking part in our biggest fashion event this year, and with their partnership, we will be able to position Yas Mall Fashion Week as a global and international fashion event.
 
Commenting on the partnership, Mohammad Al Bulooki, Etihad Airways vice president – UAE and GCC Commercial, said: “Etihad Airways’ collaboration with Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi showcases the airline’s dedication to supporting aspiring talent in the fashion industry. The ambition, innovation and creativity required by up and coming designers weaves nicely into our own brand attributes.”
 
Additionally, Etihad Airways will be running a promotional stand at Yas Mall from October 6 to 15 with a raffle draw of more prizes to fashion destinations for all visitors to be announced on October 15.
 
The competition, which started in August, requires participants to submit a selection of sketches for a preliminary judging panel via the Design your Way to the Runway Website (http://www.yasmallfashionweek.com/). The deadline for submissions is September 22, 2016.

The judges will announce the winner on October 12, 2016, during Yas Mall’s Fashion Week Opening Ceremony. - TradeArabia News Service
