Dubai airport back to normal operations

DUBAI, August 6, 2016

Dubai Airports has confirmed that it has lifted all remaining capacity restrictions at Dubai International Airport and the airport is back to normal operations.

Normal traffic at the airport, the world's busiest hub for international travel, was affected following the crash landing of an Emirates plane on Wedenesday.

The ability to prioritise large aircraft has enabled a return to regular scheduled activity sooner than anticipated, the airport said.

"We continue to work with our airline partners and stakeholders in order to ensure that the few remaining passengers affected by the disruption reach their ultimate destination as soon possible," it said.
