Jumeirah Group appoints new director

DUBAI, May 24, 2016

Jumeirah Group, a Dubai-based luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Nicola Johnson as its new director of global business development – UK, Ireland and Scandinavia – Leisure.

Johnson has over 10 years’ international hospitality experience and has worked for some of the world’s top luxury hotel groups.

Her most recent post was with Lux* Hotels and Resorts in the UK Global Sales Office, where she was promoted from sales executive to Leisure and Mice sales manager for the UK, Channel Islands, Holland, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Responsible for over 10 of the company’s key global accounts, she successfully drove business into Mauritius and the Maldivian properties and was instrumental in planning for the openings in the UAE, China and Europe.

Prior to Lux*, she worked for Kerzner International based in the UK, which has given her a solid understanding of the key market in Dubai and the Middle East.

At Global Sales Office Western Europe, Johnson will be responsible for the revenue development from the leisure segment within the UK, Ireland and Scandinavian outbound markets for all Jumeirah properties worldwide. - Tradearabia News Service
