South Africa expects strong tourism growth in 2016 -minister

CAPE TOWN, May 4, 2016

South Africa's tourism sector expects strong growth in 2016 after strict new visa rules reduced the number of arrivals in the previous year, Minister Derek Hanekom said on Tuesday.

"In January, over one million tourists arrived in South Africa, 15 per cent more than in January last year," Hanekom told parliament. - Reuters
