The Isaan stall at the Qatar International Food Festival

Grand Hyatt Doha's Isaan participates in Qatar food festival

DOHA, March 22, 2016

Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas’ Isaan will return once again to the Qatar International Food Festival this spring from March 22 to 28.

The annual event consists of gastronomic alfresco eating, drinking and cooking, as well as family fun and entertainment.

Located on the second floor, Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas’ signature restaurant, Isaan, has become 2015’s leading southeastern restaurant in Doha.  Awarded ‘Best South East Asian Restaurant 2015’ by Time Out, ‘Favourite South Eastern Restaurant 2015’ by Fact and the certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor, Isaan sets the bar high with its authenticity, exotic flavours and warm service, providing guests with an exceptional Thai dining experience.

Satisfying the palates of all of his guests, Thai chef de cuisine Somporn Sintawee is an expert at presenting authentic cuisine in a contemporary style. Specialising in Thai cuisine, Chef Wachira dug into his culinary repertoire to design a carefully selected menu showcasing the Isaan region’s bold flavours and simple preparation. Chef Wachira’s menu includes signature dishes such as the popular grilled whole sea bass in pandan leaves, which is bound to entice the tastebuds. The award-winning restaurant provides guests with different offerings to present them with the full Thai experience.

Being one of Thailand’s favourite dishes, Isaan invites guests to experience the different types and flavours of curry with Isaan’s ‘Curry Nights’ every Monday from 7:00pm until 11:00pm, priced at QAR95 ($26).  Diners can appease their appetites with unlimited curry to share with the choice of fish, beef, chicken, mussels or vegetables.

For the ultimate Thai experience, Isaan offers the opportunity to celebrate the flamboyant preparation and distinctive flavours of Thailand at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel & Villas’ very own Chatuchak Weekend Market Brunch every Friday. The Chatuchak Weekend Market Brunch offers a unique and authentic Thai experience in Doha with a very rich and diverse menu. The outstanding Thai Chatuchak Weekend Market experience takes place every Friday for Brunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.  You can enjoy a soft drink brunch for QAR 290 ($79.5), a special beverage package for QAR 399 ($109.4) and the Moet brunch for QAR 680 ($186.5). - TradeArabia News Service
