Gulf Air...enhanced services to Riyadh

Gulf Air to increase frequency to Riyadh

MANAMA, March 2, 2016

Gulf Air, Bahrain's national carrier, is set to boost its Riyadh service with an increase of four additional afternoon flights per week starting tomorrow (March 3).

The additional flights take the airline's weekly flights between Bahrain International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 28 to a total of 32. This supplements a recent permanent increase in the carrier's Jeddah service, to a total of four daily flights - effective February 22.

"Today, Gulf Air operates direct flights to five destinations within Saudi Arabia: Dammam, Riyadh, Madina Al Munawarah, Jeddah and Gassim. The airline has had a presence in the kingdom since 1950, when Gulf Air was first established. With a strong presence in this market, we are delighted to provide superior travel solutions that cater to the travel needs of our Saudi passengers," said Gulf Air a/chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi. "This not only helps us further satisfy passenger need but also creates improved connections for those passengers connecting to and from Gulf Air's network of onwards destinations across the globe."

Gulf Air currently boasts a network that serves 43 cities in 24 countries spanning three continents. – TradeArabia News Service
