Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa, a luxurious hotel in the UAE emirate, has appointed Raza Abbas as its new director of business development.

Amassing 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Abbas has worked in Switzerland, the UK, Pakistan and UAE. Prior to his new appointment, he held the position of cluster associate director of sales in Hilton Hotels & Resorts Dubai, where he gained valuable experience.

Abbas has a vast working background. He has held different positions such as senior sales manager, sales and marketing manager, assistant front-office manager and restaurant manager. All these experiences have allowed him to expand and develop his skills which play an instrumental role in the overall sales segment.
