Oman Air...catering to passenger demand

Oman Air to boost Paris service

MUSCAT, September 14, 2015

Oman Air, the national carrier of the country, plans to introduce a fifth weekly flight between Muscat and Paris Charles De Gaulle starting next month.

The forthcoming increase from four to five flights per week comes on the back of huge demand for travellers from the Middle East to Paris, and from Paris to Muscat and onward destination.

Abdulrahaman Al Busaidy, chief operating officer at Oman Air, said: "Oman Air is delighted to be operating more services between Muscat and Paris than ever before in response to the growing demand from Oman and international markets. Clearly this is an endorsement of our valuable customers on our superior services and exceptional product."

The move comes as Oman Air continues its current programme of major fleet and network expansion. The programme, which was launched in late 2014, will see the airline's fleet size increase from 30 to 57 by 2018, and top 70 aircraft by 2020. The expanded fleet enables Oman Air to launch more new destinations, increase frequencies on established routes and offer more convenient connections at Muscat International Airport.

As of October 25, Oman Air's flights between Muscat and Paris will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. – TradeArabia News Service
