India's tourism fair kicks off to a busy start

HYDERABAD, July 27, 2015

TTF (Travel & Tourism Fair), India’s leading travel trade show network, kicked off at Hyderabad this week participants from around the world gathered under one roof at Hyderabad’s Hitex Exhibition Centre.

TTF is dedicated to following the globe’s latest travel and tourism trends, with a focus on serving the needs of its extensive B2B clientele.

The event offers marketing opportunity for exhibitors and is the best place for networking, face-to-face meetings, striking the deals of the future and building successful, steady business partnerships.

“Keeping with the positive sentiments in the tourism industry, both the shows are expected to grow by over 20 per cent, compared to last year,” said Sanjiv Agarwal, chairman and CEO, Fairfest Media, the organiser of TTF.

With over 150 stalls from eight countries and 18 Indian States and Union Territories, the three-day travel trade show saw state tourism boards, national tourist offices, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel agents, online travel companies, railways and cruise lines gather under one roof.

Important exhibitors included MakeMytrip, Adlabs Imagica, Air Arabia, OYO Rooms, IRCTC, MakePlan, and Lorient Travel, among others.

TTF will move on to Kolkata on July 31 before moving to West India, starting from Ahmedabad in September.

Taking further the objective of developing and growing new markets, TTF Goa has been planned for October this year, with strong support from the Host State, Goa. The venue will be the plush Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium inside the campus of Goa University, Talegaon.

Last year the TTF series saw the addition of Guwahati, the gateway to the tremendous potential of the exotic North Eastern region.
