New hotel manager for Jumeirah at Etihad Towers

ABU DHABI, July 5, 2015

Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, a social and gourmet hub in the UAE capital, has promoted Rebecca Nachanakian to the role of hotel manager.

A Lebanese-French national, Nachanakian joined Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in October 2012 as director of conferences and events and has been leading and developing her team successfully since then. In her new role, Rebecca will oversee the operational departments including Food and Beverage (F&B), Conferences and Events, Rooms Division, Housekeeping and IT.

Stefan Fuchs, general manager of Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, said: “I am delighted to welcome Rebecca in her new position. Her performance and passion for hosting innovative, creative and exciting events, her focus on developing her team members with continuous commitment, as well as her dedication and high level of collaboration have proven her best for the role of hotel manager at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

Nachanakian gained experience across areas of F&B, Mice (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), Corporate Sales and Conference & Events while working with the premier luxury hotel InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut, Lebanon.

Nachanakian complements her professional experience through her academic education, graduating from Notre Dame University in Lebanon with a Bachelor in Hospitality Management and Executive MBA from ESCP Europe, one of the most prestigious Grandes Ecoles in France.
