Air Arabia Jordan adds Madinah to network

AMMAN, June 4, 2015

Air Arabia Jordan, the new low-cost carrier based in Jordan, has announced Madinah in Saudi Arabia as the fifth city to join its international route network.

Starting June 10, the carrier will operate twice weekly from Amman.

Adel A Ali, Group chief executive officer, said: “We are delighted by the progress achieved in a relatively short time. In the past month, we have fully established our operations and have grown to serve five destinations, including two in Saudi Arabia. With the first phase of our launch strategy now complete, our focus turns to expanding the Air Arabia Jordan network to serve more of the cities where our customers want us to fly.”

Air Arabia Jordan currently operates 14 direct weekly flights from Queen Alia International Airport in Amman to Jeddah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia; Erbil in Kurdistan Region of Iraq; Sharam El Sheikh in Egypt; and to Kuwait City in Kuwait. – TradeArabia News Service
