Flydubai....expanding Saudi Arabian network

Flydubai boosts Saudi Arabia network

RIYADH, June 4, 2015

Flydubai continues to expand its Saudi Arabian network with direct flights to Gizan and Jouf launching in July.

Flydubai operations to Gizan will commence on July 10 with daily flights and Jouf will follow on July with 11 four flights a week.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of flydubai, said: “We are honoured to have the opportunity to further expand our network in Saudi Arabia. We look forward to seeing our flights to these two major cities further strengthen the strong cultural and trade ties between our two nations.”

Stretching along the southern Red Sea coast, the Gizan province includes the Farasan Islands, Saudi Arabia's first natural reserve, home to the rare Arabian Gazelle and birds migrating from Europe in winter.

Located in the north of Saudi Arabia, Jouf, which is home to 500,000 people, features historical Islamic monuments, and hosts one of the largest land ports in the Middle East.

“With direct flights to Dubai, passengers can enjoy flydubai’s comfortable on-board services including its Business Class and award-winning In-Flight Entertainment. The convenience of our home in Terminal 2, Dubai International, the frequency of our flights and our Business Class Lounge give passengers the opportunity to easily connect onwards to our growing network of 90 destinations.” said Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president, commercial (GCC, Subcontinent, Africa) at flydubai. – TradeArabia News Service
