72 by Hues wins Sharjah award

SHARJAH, May 11, 2015

Sharjah-based 72 by Hues hotel, a property owned and managed by Hues Hotels and Resorts, has been awarded as the ‘Best Five-star Hotel’ at the Sharjah Tourism Excellence Awards.

The awards ceremony was held under the patronage of  HH Sheikh Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

Sharjah Tourism Excellence Awards, granted by Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), aims to encourage tourism sector facilities in Sharjah and apply the international quality standards.

The criteria that were used to assess more than 50 hotels in the emirate was on the quality of meeting space, guest rooms, guest services and amenities, food and beverage service, high-tech services and equipment, recreational facilities and activities, the efficiency and helpfulness of staff; and overall value and experience.

“We are so proud to have been chosen by STCA for this significant award. The award is indeed a testament of Hues Hotel’s efforts to provide guests with a ‘home away from home’ feeling," said Mahmoud Hamza, CEO Hues Hotels & Resorts.
