UNWTO, Aviareps sign MoU to support destination marketing

BERLIN, March 10, 2015

The World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) and Aviareps, a global airline and tourism representative, have partnered to promote international tourism to various destinations around the world in need of destination marketing assistance.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Taleb Rifai, secretary general of the UNWTO and Michael Gaebler Chairman and CEO of Aviareps at ITB Berlin in Germany, a global travel trade show.

“In partnership with the UNWTO and our mutual belief in tourism as a positive driver for inclusive economic growth, Aviareps is excited to work diligently with our tourism and aviation partners to provide destination marketing expertise and assistance for a number of worthy recipients around the globe. Through these actions we aim to make a positive difference with tourism providing tangible results for people on the ground,” Gaebler said. – TradeArabia News Service
