Hochgruber..Abu Dhabi has become a key destination for visitors

Abu Dhabi hotels forecast growth in business

ABU DHABI, February 5, 2015

Abu Dhabi’s Novotel and Ibis Gate Hotels, leading luxury properties in the UAE emirate, expect an increase in business this year due to a projected growth in the number of visitors to the emirate.

Nicola Hochgruber, the hotels’ general manager, said: “The expected increase in visitors would be a result of the large number of exhibitions and conferences planned in the capital this year, adding that the location of the two hotels near the Abu Dhabi international exhibition centre makes them a key destination of those visitors.

“Abu Dhabi has become a key destination for visitors due to its attractive sites and advanced infrastructure and services...we expect an increase in the number of visitors, tourists and businessmen to the city this year because of the large number of events to be organised this year,” she said.

Both hotels, ranked as four- and three-star, have been recording high occupancy rates mainly because of their proximity to the exhibition centre, the airport, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and other key sites.

Novotel comprises 160 rooms and 64 one-bed room apartments besides conference halls, restaurants, a spa, swimming pools, gym and other facilities. Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate offers 252 rooms and 42 one-bed room apartments in addition to wi-fi services, pools, a spa, restaurants, a gym and other facilities. – TradeArabia News Service
