JA Resorts launches Emirati Village festivities

DUBAI, November 19, 2014

JA Ocean View Hotel, a leading luxury hotel in Dubai, UAE, celebrated the official opening ceremony of the Emirati Village to commemorate the Emirate’s 43rd National day.

The Emirati Village has on display the different aspects of local Emirati culture and traditional life until December 3. The hotel’s outdoor atrium has been redesigned to resemble a mini souk where guests and visitors can buy local handicrafts and souvenirs. Also on display are various authentic sweets, a henna design artist for ladies, traditional Arabic coffee on offer served in a Bedouin tent as well as a variety of daily activities including Emirati dance and musical performances by local school children.

“We are delighted to be hosting this wonderful event for the second consecutive year” said JA Resorts & Hotels CEO David Thomson. “Our objective is to showcase the generosity and richness of the Emirati culture to guests and visitors on the walk in Jumeirah Beach Residence and to rejoice in the festivities celebrating 43 years of heritage and culture,” he added.

The Emirati Village will operate daily from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, excluding November 24. – TradeArabia News Service
