A major festival celebrating the essence of Bahrain will take place from December 15 to February 16, 2015, in Bahrain.

Bahrain Noor El Ain, which means “Bahrain the Light of our Eyes”, will feature an exciting array of events designed to showcase the very best of what Bahrain has to offer to its people, the region and the world.

The two-month-long shopping festival will witness shops and malls offering customers amazing weekly prizes, shopping opportunities, discounts and special offers that will benefit the local and regional visitors.

The nation-wide festival is being led by a committee that comprises Tamkeen, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Information Affairs Authority, Ministry of Industry and Commerce and several private and public sector organisations.

Nabeel Al Mahmood, chief executive of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), said: “The BCCI welcomes this opportunity for retailers to showcase their offerings to thousands of local and regional shoppers who will flock to take advantage of the special offers and valuable prizes on offer.
