Hosani....assisting clients around the globe

Samaya International opens office in Paris

PARIS, November 2, 2014

Samaya International, an Abu Dhabi-based boutique tourism industry advisory firm, has opened its first international office in Paris, France.

“Demand for support in investment in European hospitality brands from our local UAE-based clients has initiated this expansion,” said Ali Al Hosani, CEO and founder, Samaya International.

The UAE and France currently enjoy a high level of commercial cooperation across numerous sectors, with trade and the flow of tourists between the two countries expected to double over the next five years.

According to figures released by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, the number of French nationals checking into Abu Dhabi’s hotels reached record levels in the first seven months of 2014, with over 32,000 hotel guests, representing a 14 per cent increase on the same period in the previous year.

The rise is expected to continue in the lead up to the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island in 2015, representing a significant cultural exchange and partnership between the two countries.

“With a dedicated office located in Paris and French-speaking staff, this enables us to assist our clients with asset and hotel management services throughout France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxumbourg and Monaco,” added Al Hosani.

Phillipe Mugnier, a well-connected tourism industry professional with over two decades experience in luxury tourism, has been appointed Manager of Samaya International’s French office. Mugnier was also the representative for Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority in French-speaking Europe, and contributed to marketing Abu Dhabi as a destination of distinction.

“It’s an honour to head up Samaya International’s first global office,“ said Mugnier, manager of Samaya International – France.  “I’m keenly aware of the rich links and high potential of increased investment between the UAE and French-speaking Europe, and look forward to assisting the firm and its clients further strengthen mutual ties.” – TradeArabia News Service
