ATDD focuses on the emirate'a participation in international events

ATDD reviews tourism promotion plans

The Ajman Tourism and Development Department (ATDD) marketing and promotion section recently reviewed the tourism sector promotion plan for 2015, with the aim of stabilising the UAE emirate’s presence on the international tourism map.

The Ajman tourism sector’s participation in international events abroad was discussed during a meeting with executives of the emirate’s tourism establishments.

“A number of internal promotion projects, planned for 2015, and other ATDD-sponsored presence in a number of countries targeted for outbound tourism, were also high on the agenda of the meeting,” said Khulood Khaled Al Nuaimi, director of tourism development and marketing.

Hind Al Marzooqi, head of ATDD marketing and promotion section, lauded the initiatives and ideas raised by the tourism sector representatives to enhance internal and international promotion efforts for Ajman as a distinguished tourism destination in the UAE.

The gathering came as part of a series of specialised meetings held by a number of ATDD sections with the aim of strengthening constructive communication with partners in the tourism sector in Ajman. – TradeArabia News Service
