Jordanian airline involved in minor incident in New York

AMMAN, October 7, 2014

A Royal Jordanian flight was involved in a minor mishap while taxiing at JFK Airport on Monday after its wing collided with the tail of a plane belonging to Delta Airlines.

The flight RJ261 was flying from Amman to New York.

It was a minor incident and no injuries were reported, said the national airline in its statement.

The passengers onboard the flight didn't feel any impact and later proceeded to their final destinations, it added.

The Jordanian carrier said its staff at JFK Airport accommodated the passengers flying back to Amman. They were offered to either wait for the problem to be fixed or fly back to Amman on other airlines via US or European cities.-TradeArabia News Service
