Indian hotel group unveils big Mideast plans

India's Suba Group of Hotels has made its Middle East debut with a four-star facility in Dubai and has plans to launch three more hotels in the region by the end of 2017.

Part of the Mumbai-based MRL Group, Suba has hotel projects in the Indian cities of Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bandalore, Baroda and Dahej.

Located in Deira at the heart of old Dubai, the new Suba hotel combines the traditional Arabic design with contemporary elements of modern architecture, said a statement from the company.

Suba Hotel boasts of 92 rooms and suites along with modern leisure facilities and multi-cuisine dining options. It is in close proximity to the renowned tourist landmarks and historic destinations, it stated.

The rooms are all equipped with hitech facilities including satellite TV, high speed Wi-Fi internet and tablet controlled lighting and television facilities and the suites have additional facilities including private Jacuzzis and rain showers, the statement added.

This is the first four-star hotel in Dubai to offer tablet-controlled room lighting and television facilities, said Mansur Mehta, the founder and chief managing director of Suba Group.

"We are excited to bring the brand to Middle East and offer high quality services to our valued clients. Along with the experienced team of professionals led by CEO, Mubeen Mehta, and general manager, Wajeed Bagwan, we are enthusiastically looking forward to our regional growth in the coming few years," he added.

According to him, the hotel also offers indoor facilities that can accommodate 10-70 guests and outdoor catering services for up to 300 guests for business conferences, meetings and seminars.

Restaurants and Cafés at the Suba Hotel showcase diverse cuisines ranging from Arabic, Continental, Indian to Chinese. Cinnamon, Lobby Café, and fine dining outlets provide the guests a unique blend of local and international flavors under one roof, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
