Rixos wins top World Travel award
Dubai, May 7, 2013
Rixos The Palm Dubai won the Middle East’s Leading Lifestyle Resort 2013 award at the recently held 20th Annual World Travel Awards.
It is the Turkish leading hospitality operator’s first property, located in one of UAE’s premium addresses, lavishly catering to its ever-growing luxury leisure tourist market as well as to business travellers seeking refreshing locations beyond the conventional downtown addresses.
The resort, enjoying a unique build up ratio of only 30 per cent along with the longest beach stretch on the Palm, became instantly popular for its highly individualised experience offering to the occupants of its 231 rooms, a statement from the hotel said.
The AWTA award for Middle East’s Leading Lifestyle Resort 2013, seals the positioning of Rixos The Palm Dubai as one of the most desired destinations not only on the Palm but also in the greater Middle Eastern region and adds to the global recognition granted to Rixos Hotels for their hospitality excellence.
The award was received by Mouhamad Hadla, the hotel manager Rixos The Palm Dubai. “This is a huge achievement for the entire team of Rixos The Palm Dubai who strive to provide exceptional service and inspiring Turkish hospitality to all of our guests. We look forward to welcoming many more savvy travellers to enjoy the renowned Rixos Experience.”
The ceremony was held at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, and was attended by distinguished members from tourism authorities of the region, CEOs, directors of leading travel companies, chief executives of destinations and tourism departments. – TradeArabia News Service
