Bahrain Air opens Kathmandu sales office

Bahrain Air has opened its new sales office in Kathmandu, to cater to the travel requirements of the airline's passengers.

'Bahrain Air plans to launch more stations as part of an aggressive expansion plan to serve exciting business and leisure cities around the region,' said Ibrahim Abdullah Al Hamer Bahrain  Air’s managing director.

'We are very excited to offer our varied travel services to international destinations to our customers in Kathmandu.'

'We have taken an important step to fly to Kathmandu, and as we grow our business, we will look at similar opportunities across Asia,' Al Hamer concluded.

Bahrain Air, which launched Kathmandu its 15th station in its network, is in preparations to launch its new destinations Kozhikode and Abu Dhabi to bring up the total of stations to 17.

Kathmandu is the capital and the largest city of Nepal. The city is situated in Kathmandu Valley that also contains two other cities - Patan and Bhaktapur.

Tourism, sometimes said to be the 'third religion' of Nepal, is the country's most important industry, and plays a large role in the economic activity of Kathmandu.-TradeArabia News Service
