Shoppers are in for a treat as tomorrow will mark the launch of the “Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2020”, the largest of its kind shopping campaign across the emirate.

 

The month-long event is organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, SCCI, under the theme “Smile, You Are in Sharjah” and it is expected to bring a bunch of exciting offers and discounts of up 75 per cent.

 

Major shopping centres and retail stores in the emirate and the central and eastern regions have confirmed their participation through a number of exclusive offers and discounts on the finest international brands and consumer goods. Among these are Sahara Center, Al Waha Mall, City Center Sharjah, Zawaya Walk, and Zero 6 Mall, in addition to a large number of retail stores in the emirate.

 

Further, a lot of surprises and attractive prizes are awaiting lucky shoppers, including luxury cars, hotel stays, and many more.

 

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI, said: “Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2020 is one of the new initiatives of the SCCI which aims to actively participate in developing and diversifying Sharjah’s economy and playing a key role in the development of various sectors, especially the retail sector.”

 

“This event is an important opportunity for the retail sector, especially with the gradual return of economic life, as it would help boost sales and revive markets,” he underlined.

 

Al Owais pointed out that the commercial activities sponsored and organised annually by the SCCI have become eagerly-awaited events by all the participating sectors, as well as the community members, thanks to the exciting activities, exclusive discounts, and valuable prizes.

 

Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, SCCI Director-General, pointed to the partners of the Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2020, including Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (media partner), the strategic partners (Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Sharjah Economic Development Department), Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC) BMW (diamond partner).
